Boxing Is boxing good for the body? Boxing is great if you are wanting to express your body through exercise. Boxing gets your muscles pumping and ready to work. Boxing also helps lower the risk of having high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, and diabetes. It strengthens your muscles and strengthens bones, lifts moods, and burns more calories. Boxing will definitely put you in shape physically and mentally. Boxing will help you will your balance, increase muscle mass, coordination, reduce stress, and will improve stamina. Pounding a punching bag and skipping really helps your whole body as it's a whole-body workout. Disadvantages? The disadvantages with boxing are definitely the injuries you can get.
